Came home from Croatia today. It only took 22 hours. Thanks, TrenItalia.

Came home to a message from Alfredo the Roman hero saying that our papers had been denied and we’re to pick them up at the office tomorrow.

Nick went to buy dinner from the Shwarma Station while I tried to process the dying/dashing/crumbling of my dream.

That lasted about 3 minutes.

That was the risk in trying this crazy thing. They might say no. We found the courage to go after the life we wanted, even in just this small way, even if people didn’t understand it. It’s our love, and our life and our one shot. At worst, we planned to have an awesome summer in Rome, and we did. Worst sounds best, afterall.

That’s the quick summary to get the info out right now.
We’re gonna bust out of Rome tomorrow morning to hike the Cinque Terre. Bam.
